Patch Keeper is a preset-sharing community operated by Runnit at patchkeeper.runnitmusic.com. This policy explains how the community website handles information. Contact runnitpromo@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests.

Information we collect and why

When you create an account, we store account information such as your email address, username, display name and authentication information. We use it to provide sign-in, account recovery, member submissions and community discussions. WordPress stores password hashes rather than readable passwords.

You may provide a profile picture, biography, website and social links. We store the information you choose to add and use it to display your community profile. Preset and pack submissions can include files, artwork, descriptions, compatibility requirements, license information, store links and audio previews. We process these to review, display and deliver community listings.

Our hosting and security systems may process IP addresses, browser information, timestamps, request information and security events to deliver the site, prevent abuse, investigate problems and maintain reliability. If you contact us, we use your message and contact information to respond.

Google sign-in

If you choose Continue with Google, Google authenticates you and provides basic identity information, which may include your Google account identifier, email address, verification status, name and profile picture. We use this information to create or identify your Patch Keeper account, sign you in and, where configured, display your profile picture. We do not receive your Google password. The sign-in integration uses authentication tokens or an account association to complete this process.

Patch Keeper’s Google sign-in requests basic identity and profile access, not access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts or calendar. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising or use it to train artificial intelligence models. Patch Keeper’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

You can revoke Patch Keeper’s Google connection through your Google Account’s third-party connections settings. Revoking access does not itself delete your Patch Keeper account or public posts. Contact us to request deletion, and arrange another sign-in method before disconnecting if Google is your only way to sign in.

What other people can see

Public display names, profile pictures, biographies, social links, published listings, forum posts and replies are visible to other visitors. Email addresses and account credentials are not part of public community profiles. Do not put private information in public content or uploaded files. Other people can download, copy or share published material, so we cannot retrieve every copy after removal.

Preset files awaiting review are stored outside the public website directory and are available to authorized moderators for review. Pack artwork and audio previews use public media URLs and may be accessible to someone who has the URL before the listing is approved. Do not upload confidential material.

Images, cookies and local storage

Pack covers submitted through the member upload form are center-cropped and re-encoded to 64×64 pixels. Only that optimized cover is retained in permanent cover storage; the uploaded full-size original is discarded. Ordinary administrator Media Library uploads and external profile pictures follow their separate storage behavior.

WordPress uses cookies for sign-in, security and account preferences. Optional remember-me settings extend a login session. The website also stores your selected color theme and saved listing IDs in your browser’s local storage. These saved listings are device-specific. You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser, although clearing sign-in cookies signs you out.

Service providers and external sites

Hostinger hosts the website. WordPress and installed plugins provide accounts, forums, social login and related functions. Email delivery providers process account and support messages as needed. Authorized administrators and moderators can access information needed to operate the community.

When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser and device signals and related request information to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse. It receives verification requests when protected forms are used. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Turnstile Privacy Addendum. Google processes sign-in information under Google’s privacy policy. If a profile image is supplied by Gravatar, a hash derived from the account email address may be sent to that service; see Automattic’s privacy policy.

Paid listing links take you to external stores. Those stores handle payment and file delivery under their own policies; Patch Keeper does not collect payment-card details for these purchases. External links, profile images and embedded content may cause your browser to contact the relevant service. Providers may process information in countries other than your own.

Retention, security and your choices

Account information is retained while your account remains active and as needed to operate the service. Community posts and listings may remain until removed, including after account closure where appropriate. There is no automatic expiry for submissions. Security records and backups follow the relevant operational retention processes, and deleted information may remain in backups until they are replaced. We may retain limited records for security, disputes or legal obligations.

We use access controls, HTTPS and moderated submissions to help protect information. No storage or transmission system is completely secure.

You can edit available profile fields in your account. To request access, correction, a copy or deletion of personal information, email runnitpromo@gmail.com. We may need to verify account ownership before acting. Tell us if you also want your public content removed or anonymized. Applicable law may give you additional rights, including the right to raise a concern with a data-protection authority. Deletion requests may be subject to necessary legal and security retention.

The community is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. We may update this policy as the service changes and will show the revised date here. Read our Terms of Service for community rules.
